Hey Mate,

why dont go 3 piece. Like the Loomis and Franklin Shockwave or the Poseidon . I am not to sure about the poseidon but with the shockwave you get 3 different tips , 3,4 and 6 ounce which allows you to use the same rod for a shark or tailor. If you put a nice reel on it you have a combo that will do most jobs in and around perth. Another tip if you wanne fish for sharks have a look into slide fishing.

X2 on the shockwave i got mine modified to have a high mount reel seat on it too. So depending on my style of fishing i can choose to go high or low mount. Bloody love it. Being three piece it can also fit in the boot of my missus Hyundai Excel!
