2011 quintrex 490 freedom sport max HP?

Has anyone got the same boat? If you do could you please tell me what your max hp is on your placard. I'm a bit confused as mine states 80hp max and 182kg max but all my online reasurch suggests 90hp. I rang a few quintrex dealers and they just say if it states 80hp then that's the max I can put on.
If there was a mistake on the placard I would love to get the 90 suzuki for the few extra $$$...

F90 are sweet
169kg dry weight. Will go under transom weight recommdations which is what she's about
Not sure on the 90 weight Suzuki but sure it'll be about the same. Mate has a 90 Suzuki and fuel economy is nuts
But for me it's Yamaha from Jetpower.

insurance
Can't see why with the 90hp at 155kg's wouldn't be ok.
My old man has a 5m quintrex with a 50 honda and miles underpowered but was looking at a F70. He thought that would be fine so an 80 on your 490 will be ok too.
The F80 is almost a 1.6L displacement motor. Not sure on the Suzi tho. Thats plenty for your weight hull
Insurance might cause you grief if you ever make a claim though if you have gone over manufacturers recommendations too

My mates got the 90hp suxuki
My mates got the 90hp suxuki on the same hull.
Its got almost 2000 hours on it now, the fuel economy is insane. The 90 has heaps or torque to push 3 of us onto the plane with 5 days worth of camping gear, its a great match for the hull.

Yeah fuel economy is pretty
Yeah fuel economy is pretty good with the suzuki... I filled my boat up when I purchased it, put 15 hours on the clock and put 34lt in it the other day haha...

Insurance
If you have an engine on the back higher than the makers recommendation then the insurance company will wipe your claim if you have an accident

I agree as to why I'm
I agree as to why I'm getting the 80hp. I just couldn't find any info on my boat but I ended up ringing telwater to confirm 80 was the max. Everything I read online was stating 90 was the max and i couldn't work out why as my boat is exactly the same as the ones rated for a 90. Like you said for insurance reasons I'll stick with the 8, i just have to decide what one I want
