Anyone looking for an apprentice?
Submitted by yak on Thu, 2011-02-10 11:49
I know it's a long shot, but I'm super keen and thought I'd have a crack at using up some good resources.
If anyone is looking or knows of someone who is, chuck us a PM, hopefully that will work
Cheers

I'm chasing a carpentry apprenticeship
I'm 21,
I live in Kingsley
I have my own reliable car
White/blue card
I have done a little bit of carpentry work, really just trying to get my foot in the door.
I work full time at the moment, but I'm looking for a long term career
As I said, I'm keen and willing to work.

Too bad the mines are out.
Too bad the mines are out. Some good deals around out there at the moment.

Good luck mate
Wouldnt think you will have any dramas finding work - sounds like you have the most important asset already.
I also dont think anyone on this site would knock a young fella asking for work either!
Have you tried any of the group training mobs - not always the greatest money (even by apprenticeship standards), but can generally organise continuity of work which is what you want.
Do a bit of door knocking in your local area - an opportunity might be just around the corner.
Good luck mate.

Have a look on the websites below.
http://www.australianapprenticeships.gov.au/
http://www.trainingwa.wa.gov.au/apprenticentre/detcms/portal/
The apprenticentre one lists available apprenticeships.
