What a Beautifull fish. Never tasted one before and I do know it is always a catch and release fish, but I have heard they are **** eating. So kept???
Not cooked yet and as fresh as. Can anyone comment whether I have commited a sin or are they rated as highly as I have heard.

very nice
Top eating, but for the amount you get from filleting them I prefer to put them back. Sure they are good, but they're not really that much different from a bluebone, trout or even a grassy. Then again, each one of those fish are 'attractive' in their own rights.

We had a couple of nice pet Barra Cod in our cooling lagoon when I was up at the Dampier Power Station, used to feed the biscuits and fruit cake n stuff, they loved it.

Are you talking about
Are you talking about Barramundi Cod?
They are a no take species now in Queensland but in the past when we could keep them I have had the opportunity to eat a few.
Nice white flesh and typical of a lot of those reef fish that offer the same type of flesh.
Is there no way to post a reply and attach an image? I have a photo I could put up here.

Yes mate
And to post an image look on the right side off the columns and it will go through a step by step way of putting images on. That is the screen when you look at all the posts.

Bunny in the spot where you
Bunny in the spot where you write a reply / comment there's a small icon with a tree on it. Click on there and you can browse your files and insert the pic. Just make sure the size of the image is reasonable though because this doesn't resize it for you. I usually resize it to 1024x768 and that works fine.
