Blackwood River Can you Catch Blueys there ????

Hey Guys,
My Beautiful Fiance has bought me 3 nights on the blackwood River house boat just me and her for my birthday soooooooo awosome!!!!!!!
I can't wait to chase bream on sp's and hard bodys all day but i was curious can you get Crabs in the river ??? if i can i won't hesitate to bring a couple of drop nets :)
Also any info on what on the bite or what to chase in the river would be great.
Like are the any larger speices lurking the river like is it worth me bring somethig a bit bigger than my bream to have set out or not??

I've heard a few recent reports of good catches around Molloy Is.

Yep was there about a week ago, any where from Molloy Island to where the river hits the sea you will find them. Not sure about bigger stuff. Good luck.
Make sure you have a swim the water temp in the river is spot on.

just got back from augusta
just got back from augusta fished the river mouth for a while an managed a 33cm king george (my first kg aswell) an one big blowie heaps of stingrays around the river mouth but not alot else doiwn that end

yep heaps of crab down
yep heaps of crab down there,, Not as big as you get in the swan but way better the the the peel crab also... In my opinion..

just got back from Augusta
just got back from Augusta today.blowing its guts out but river was good for a cruise heaps of crabs where being caught and as savdefender said water temp was awsome for a swim 25 degree showing on the screen
