canning bridge last night for a few hours

whent there last night about 4 left at about 10 caught 1 trumpeter at about 20cm but thats it cause a few blokes hoggin the pylons lol. i left my rod in the dirt and walked away to get a drink looked bak and the rod was bent right over i sprinted there and started fighting the fish i was fighting wicked then suddenly SNAP i couldnt believe the fish came to the surface and snaped me off i dnt no what fish it was but i think it was a decent size and fighting very, very hard.also the petrol stations near the bridge sell the worst bait within 2 hours our prawns and mulies where falling to pieces and all mushie the meat just falling of the hook

our prawns from there lasted a good 6 hours today. didnt have a problem with them. we had a wicked session this morning, so dunno why you had no luck.

Try not to soak the entire
Try not to soak the entire bag of bait in water other wise they go mushy. And take a couple at a time and soak, that way they all stay as fresh as possible. And the IQF mulies are way better than those 2kg block of mullies.
