G'day all...
I am really keen to take the missus and 3 kids out crabbing one evening and was thinking of dropping my nets in the mindarie marina, or a few hundred metres out offshore on some sand....Is this going to get me anythjing or can you suggest where I could go that's family friendly??
Thanks :)

anything with floats is
anything with floats is banned in mindarie nowadays, we used to get a good feed in there years ago but times have changed. can still get a few crabs landbased ( or without floats if you think outside the square . . .) although there is a resident massive ray that snaffles fish baits with gusto so choose your bait carefully otherwise bye bye baits

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

mindarie
you wont get any hassle from anyone crabbing inside the marina, just need to throw nets landbased, the minute you use a boat to pull nets people jump up and down
