Crabs in the sound???

Hi guys ive just moved up this way and wondering if theres still crabs and squid getting around in cockburn sound. Any general areas worth looking at. I have a 4m boat

There is plenty arround
Crabs in the sound I believe the season closed on May 1st
To fish from your boat you will need a skippers ticket and a Recreational boat fishing license.

it says closed in the west
it says closed in the west coast region guide on the 1st of may
but then on that site ....
