Cray pot parts and rope lengths

G'day all, I need to replace my cray pot escape gaps and just wondering where I can get replacements from?

Also for pots in 20m's of water, how much rope would be ideal?

cheers Paul

Call around local stores and see what they have in stock, or if you are near oconnor then Crackpots should have anything you're after.

about 30m should do it.

Most of the ones in the shops are 55mm not 54mm. Not sure whether it makes any difference really to catch rates....

30m. rope....metal escape hatches are spot welded and then one side gives way ,unless u do running repairs every so often then plastic is the way to go
