Customer Service above and Beyond ?!!

Recently as per usual when I need specialised fishing / brands that ordinary fishing tackle stores dont supply I make my way to Oceanside Marine Tackle. I just got to say yet again that these blokes are bloody fantastic and never fail to deliver the goods. This trip to oceanside was to round up a present for my old man's 50th birthday . Seeing Iv finally got him into demersal jigging and we have been doing a fair bit of snapper fishing . My target rod was a Eupro Twin Craft . None the less these rods are bloody beautiful I use one myself and use it constantly , one problem Ocean Side had run out. This is a huge thanks to Ryan Thipthorp who had a spare Eupro Twin Craft at his home which inisisted I could have and he sold me it. This is going beyond customer needs and I gotta say Im jealous of my old man , using a rod from Ryan Thipthorp , no excuses not to catch a big fish now. So a big thanks to all the boys at Oceanside Marine , this is the type of customer service that always keeps me coming back. Bloody Legends.

Gotta agree. The smaller independantly owned and run tackle shops are awesome. I've always have good service at Oceanside and recently i've been hitting up Compleat Angler Nedlands and think that is one of the best tackle shops going at the moment. I've been going to Carry on Camping in Kelmscott for 15 or so years now since I was a young kid and always get fantastic service and try to buy as much of my gear from them unless they dont stock what I want.

Went into a BCF store the other day. Didnt get a "hi how are you going?" "would you like a hand" or any of that. Was absolutely pathetic and felt sadened when I saw Stella's in there glass cabinets. BCF isnt worthy of selling the mighty Stella!!

Can't agree more with that statement, I PM'd oceanside saying i was interested in a FWA baitcast rod, they had it set aside for me when i arrived! Also the manager, (Blake i beleive) was full of knowledge and helped me find the stuff i wanted, with a 10% discount for being FW member!

ive had similar serive online, but in saying that its good to see the local boys come through with world class customer serive, i've been scepticlel sbout it in th past but feel i will be heading  back  the local gurus's as alot of humble pie and not even asking for discount, these guys provie a serive above and beyond, personailty's aside its worth the 5 minutes of genric info to point you in the right direcrition, sang that would like to apologise for some previous coments and asks the pro/guru's helping out. study, read , buy whst what you want and need, a saving is s saving, enojy and fish on
