Daiwa Bent Butt rod

Does anyone have any opinions on the Daiwa INTERLINE bent butt rods? No guides, no rollers, the line feeds through the inside of the rod. any feed back appreciated.

Cheers

Each to their own

But I love the interline concept and how the rods perform. I have a 60-100lb interline for trolling and an interline squid rod. About the only thing that is a pain in the bum is having to remember to pack the wire line feeding tool each time, otherwise I reckon they are really good. Best part of them is you get no tip wrap whatsoever, especially handy when squidding.

Use mine deep

Use mine deep dropping been good this far. As I use 80 lb leader I don't use the ill stainless cable to feed through. Will have to see if it ruins braid in the long run , but after 2 hapuka and 1 grey band still going good.

they were cheap from motackle - but my local bloke in rocko matched- no eyes so they should be cheap

ialso went for the longer model to get me further away from the boat. Very Happy this far
