1kw
Have you got the 1kw sounder? Thats a lot of gain to be running if so for that depth.

jesus i didnt see that untill you pointed it out
even with the 600watt i wouldnt be anywhere near that! and at a speed of 4/1 it will really enhance the fish and make it look like there is more there than there was

Yeah. gain and scroll is up
Yeah. gain and scroll is up high because i was moving spots at speed when i saw this. didn't bother readjusting for pic. (my tvg is set on low too , so it needs a little more gain)
i can assure you they were there though.

Think you're prob right Bodie, even though this wasn't on, or near any large structure. Most likely really eh.
I did pull up a 6 foot shark out of this show as well (you can only imagine my disappointment)

Well I'm stuffed now. On
Well I'm stuffed now. On Monday, got a nice dhu on jig with very little on the sounder, and a few weeks ago got another size dhu blind jigging in no mans land near Rotto sheltering from strong wind, yet have gotten nothing from absolute corker shows.
I will tell you one thing, sharks show up great on the sounder, as we learnt at the north barge on Monday. Almost unfishable these days, gone the same way as Hillarys patch.
I would say bait and sharks.

I was at a deeper wreck on
I was at a deeper wreck on monday too before heading in to this , and there was good fish returns all over it. they were the standard reds, pinkies and some little tuna of sorts. (bait) didn't pull a shark off that at all , and stayed for a couple hrs.
This school above were on the move a bit
After heaving up the shark , I was done
