Plenty of average days, plenty of good days..  Lets just say that the fishing is good!  If the billfish reported over the last week is anything to go by, its going to be a GOOOD season!

Was up there first week of March last year(2008) for a week and had a ball. Of course Exmouth was nearly hit by a cyclone in that time, which we were oblivious to as we were in the National Park camping south of Tantabiddi. Out of the seven days fishing only two days was it to rough to go outside the reef, but still fished in the protected inner. And had one day where it absolutly glassed off. Everyday was a S/SW wind. Except when we nearly got swiped by the cyclone swung round to the N/NW for a day. Swell never got above 2m while we were up there averaging about 1.2-1.5m. Outside the reef got great numbers of big mackies and tuna, didnt manage to raise any sailies. Inside the reef had a ball getting stuck into big spanglies and golden trevally.
