favorite seafood

i am intrested 2 know, what is every1's favorite seafood ? i know most people love all seafood, but if you had to pick 1, what would it be. fish ie, dhu, pinky, baldie, red emp,salmon,shark, barramudi harpuka,bass, blue eye, etc etc or

prawns, crabs, calammari, scallops, oysters, mussells, octopus etc etc or

lobster,marron etc etc.

 

4 me, i love all seafood but if i had to pick 1  it would be crabs ( fresh blue manners ) cant beat a fresh feed of big blueys....

intrested to know what is your favorite ???

gotta love the mud crabs, just got back from bidydanga near broome,

caught, ate and cooked traditional style.

also croc meat if that is counted :)

pants down, by far the sweetest, juiciest,tastiest seafood meat going. Pity they are few n far between. Second to that, Swan River Blue swimmer/manor crabs.Tongue out

got 20 kg of fresh scampi tails caught off rotto years ago, had the best barbeque on a warm summers arvo in Coogee Beach!..... No longer available due to low catch rate.. .Cannot beat Beer and Blue Manners though these days...

the water, cooked, cooled then eaten with a nice salad, Bob's favourite above everything else would be blue manna crabs straight out the water, steamed, cooled then newspaper is put on the kitchen table, bowl of vinegar, fresh bread & into the mouth they go.

I agree with Ryan - tough one, but for me, I'm with Matt - scalops for sure.

Unfortunately I can't eat Crayfish anymore (I throw up for some reason).

Well since I'm allergic to Crustaceans that rules out crab, crayfish, prawns, bugs etc... :(

Gotta say I really like fresh squid, salt and pepper squid rocks.
