Squid can be caught on the jetty but you have to wait till 9ish at night thats what i found when i was there for 10 days. You will get herring and buld whiting around the shallows and tailor at night time.
Grab the latest sunday times and check the Espy report in the fishing section.....plenty of fish around at the moment......and I'm heading back home there in a week for good! Can't wait!

theres a fair few squid there
theres a fair few squid there and most of them arnt small.
during the day the herring go nuts for metal slices of the beach and jetty.
the boat habour can hold some big whiting and during the night u get the odd sopie mulloway.
