Freshwater - fishing for gilgies

Camped at a friend's farm this weekend.  They have a creek running through it that eventually runs into the Avon.  Saw some decent size gilgies in there last night. Caught one by hand and released it.  Saw one much bigger a decent feed.  I know the bag limit is ten.  No size limit.  Do you need a freshwater licence???

Didn't realise there was a bag limit on them! Cheers Randall. They make fantastic redfin bait. But I would think being a form of fishing in freshwater you probably would but that's only an assumption

Your probably sweet on private property, but be careful anywhere else. Have heard stories (on this site, i think) of people being busted when fishing for gilgies because theoretically, they could be fishing for marron, and were out of season or using inappropriate gear.
