More opinions please......
Looking to replace the disgraceful standard knob on my Stella 10,000.....how a reel can cost $1k and have such a banger knob is beyond me..............
Have looked at either a new ali knob (45 mm JM??) or JM T bar, but the T bar always looked very awkward and uncomfortable....until I tried a JM reel the other day which had a T bar......did not like the JM OH reel, but LOVED the T bar.......at least to hold in the shop.
Has anyone used either one for extended jigging, and opinions....will be for 300-400 g jigs on the Stella, so will be getting a workout......the existing knob will be going....it is a dunger!

JM power knobs....
As good as the t-bar looks on the stella 20k, you're better off with the JM 45mm power round knob. Ergonomically the round one is better suited to spinning reels than the t-bar ones.
I do however have the t-bar ones (as well as 40mm ones) on order and are due within 2 wks.
Ive only ever used the t-bar ones for overheads. Ive seen the old Stella FA with the original t-bar snapping off many times.

I have a question fellas, i fitted a 45mm JM handle to my stella 20k. how tight do you do the nut up on the end shaft? should the knob spin freely on the shaft. i mean it winds fine but im worried about damaging the bearing.
