LC200 Suspension

I recently upgraded the LC200 (2014) suspension to increase GVM.

I have LC200 aribags that were fitted (ironman). These have done about 15k. Work fine. $100. Would prefer these to go with the coils.

Also old coils and shocks available.  Would prefer these to go with the coils. Still working OK but has 100k on the clock. Free.

Happy with them?Im booked in

Happy with them?

Im booked in for 4015kg BP51s next week. Was hoping to get away with the 3650kg but my 200s weighed in at 3270kg with just me and the gear thats permananemtly in/on the vehicle. Add a towball weight of 300kg and doesnt leave much for luggage and the family.

Hopefully the 4015kg still rides ok when not loaded up and towing.....

Thu, 2020-07-16 18:14

How'd your suspension upgrade go mate? I was under the impression that OME 4015kg BP51 fitup was only available at first rego and not available for previously licensed vehicles....? If can be done post initial rego I'm keen to hear more. How much and where mate? uCAs, diff drop, panhard etc too?

Getting installed Wednesday

Thu, 2020-07-16 22:06

Getting installed Wednesday at ARB Wangara mate. Definitely available post rego. I'm getting them to do panhead & diffdrop at the same time as the BP51 4015kg GVM for $5490

I already have blackhawk UCAs but they're def required for any lifted 200series for front wheel alignment IMO. Vehicle driveability also improves

I'm off to Ningaloo station in 4weeks so should be able to give it a good run. Will let u know mate

Yeah pit inspection, engineered sign off and re-rego with new placards.

I'm upgrading my existing EFS setup with airbags so just transferring the bags over to the new rear springs.

No probs RE a Squizz

GCM is the real fucker on a 200series though if towing decent weight...

Amazing how many people think the GVM upgrade lets them tow more.

Usually gets you the benefit of offsetting fitted accesories to allow you to carry passengers when lowing heavy

suspesion sold.

i got airbags as well. They weren’t needed, and I’m towing 3200kg.

Be interested to know what the unloaded ride is like in your wagon with the heavier springs.
