don't want to take anything away from your good haul,but been doing most areas of Mandurah and are definitely productive as far as numbers go but when they turn orange they don't seam to be as full as this time last year and tend to be a bit on the dirty just wondering how your,s were as I read in the paper that they were trying to dredge 2mtr,s of silt out of there,love the crab,s ,cheer,s

Went out scooping last Tuesday plenty of crabs over the limit problem was most of them were soft shelled so threw them back , shells were so soft that the claws were falling off during scooping I only hope that people had the same attitude and released the crabs but I doubt it.

 Mate got a feed 2 days ago from the west part of estuary, they were big full and clean. Tasted bloody nice too 

 No soft shells and mostly nice and blue.  One or two with orangey arses. Lots of boats coming in today with their limits. 

 Nothing wrong with the ones I've been getting , mix of white/blue and the "rusty" ones I can't tell the difference in taste, I've started cleaning and halfing them before cooking just recently then streaming not boiling and il never go back they taste heeps better . 

 Got Half a Dozen 150mm carpace this morning, Bagged out again :-) Seen the Fishing Wa crew out there filming to bet we out fished ya Ryan hahaha ;-)

Any of you Mandurah gents that might dive be keen on untangling a couple of pots off James Service??? 

 Mate. Look up gumtree.  A bloke advertises to dive to free cray pots. From memory he is in Fremantle.

I am happy to dive on pots for the chance to go out in a boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I usually get paid in the crays that I grab whilst down there (and not from the stuck pot).

yep plenty of crabs around , but there are lots of just undersize about to so measure carfully

when do you go plan to dive the pots wouldn't mind diving it with you we can tow my boat dawn if ol toms boat is to small for the 3 of us

 petermac and willy I am looking at Wednesday to get these pots but I am also up for a early morning crack if you are keen. You can never trust seabreeze so your guess is as good as mine as to whether the wind will drop off in the morning.

my boat is big enough for three if you thing the morning will be good enough for a dive????

got 20 in four runs (40 pots) on Monday and probably through 4-6 size back. was pulling 1-3 every pot!!

commented to my mate it was "like the old days".

 Yeah. We got 20 in 2 runs on Sunday. 

 Went out with a mate and my young bloke this morning, left a bit late but still managed 26. Heaps of little ones, the mandurah estuary is alive. Lots of mullet and heaps of whiting still. Pity work is getting in the way 

 Went out today scooping on the estery and ended up getting 20 all pretty big to
