new to swan river fishing

hey guys and girls
i am new to fishing in the swan and was wondering the best spots for flathead, bream talior and even giant hearring i have hear of point walter but do you fish the end of it casting in to the flats or is there chanells to cast too. thanks for the help

It's been years since I've fished for flattys and the like in the swan but in the day we used to fish the left hand side of Point Walter basically all along it and on the opposite side of the river at Point Resolution. Always had good results on small hard bodies and fly. Also around Applecoss. Never managed to catch a giant herring though.
