Recent Boat News
Well, my boat 'The Pighunter' got its first sea trial in 6 months yesterday.. Engine ran well, electrics ran well, all batteries primed.. Only thing of concern were the steering cables being a little loose, which I will need to look at soon.. Also will be changing the towball on the 4by which is only 48mm instead of 51mm and finished welding up the trailer and taking a few rust spots out.. Might have to give it a fishing trial sometime this week when the weather/wind fines up a bit..
Other news is the deposit for a brand new 115 yamaha 2 stroke went down yesterday at Fremantle Yamaha.. The boat goes in next monday, so it will be out of action for a little while, but it means we will be out at the fads and sambo jigging any time the weather permits.. Going to be a big summer!!!!

Well.. the old engine wasn't running all cylinders on full capacity and there was a significant power loss when hitting waves\chop..
We got $1500 trade in on the 75 merc, with $700 fitting for the new one and a total trade in value of $9000 for a 115 yamaha 2 stroke.

Well, got the new 115 yesterday, very sexy indeed.. Going to give it a run in the river this afternoon (thursday) and prob take my punt down for a spin as well.. Make sure everything is tip top before the weekend's activities.

To my amazement I have noticed dry rot in my tinny (tragic is the weather)
