I remember it was about this time last year when marlin, sailfish and mackies were being hooked round Duns and cape nat, has anyone heard any reports so far this year? I dont know what the water temp was like last year compared to this year but i heard it was pretty warm around eagle bay over the weekend like 22+ degrees? Is that too cold for these northern pelagics?

I was out on sunday and saw
I was out on sunday and saw some odd whitewater out from quindalup on the 4 mile, but when I drove over there it was weird like a small surge of white water heading across towards bunbury. Followed it for a bit as I originally thought it was something smashing bait but there was nothing on it. Though next time Im out deeper, I will have a flyrod and baitfish imitation ready just in case I come across something.
Yes geo bay had a small cool pocket of water in it a week or so ago but now its looking like it has mixed in. Over the next week or two I reckon trolling around the cape will be interesting!
