Stupidity (lost item: Abu Garcia power tip, shakespeare axiom)

Hey all
One of my first posts and it's a downer.
Was fishing the canning river shellies bridge, where the pipeline crosses the river
Due to the packing up the kayaks, and the hurry to escape the hordes of mozzies, i failed to pack my rod in the car. I was sure I did but obviously not.
I live out in Armadale some distance away so I didn't get the chance to return.
If you happen to find an Abu Garcia power tip with a Shakespeare axiom or hear of some one who finds it, could u ring us up on 94971583.
Oh and if u got a similar story of your best fishing gear gone missing, due to your own funny mistakes, please share

I would have gone back to look for it. Did you catch any fish? That would be worse I reckon - having your best ever catch & leaving it behind.
