I helped do one many years ago

I injected formaldehyde into all the joints and it dissolved the all the flesh from inside. We pinned all the joints into position with the cray sitting over a box to get it sitting up off the ground. I moved away before it was finished so don't know how it was completed.

Just be very careful doing it as both me and my mate got the formaldehyde in our eyes when the needle got blocked and the extra pressure caused the needle to pop off and spray back in our eyes. I was fortunate as I fell in the sea and flushed most of the crap out of my eyes but still got to spend several days in hospital all the same having the eyes flushed over and over again. So wear safety goggles and a visor.

I found something on the internet so will PM you.

pretty easy

It is pretty easy really , to do a cray.

I did some a few years ago and got a bottle of the good stuff from the chemist along with some large siringes . Set the cray/crab up in what will be it's presentation pose. Use needle to inject into the joints and the tail etc. This may have to be done several times. I found if you use too much formalin it turns the shell red/orange like it had been cooked. Use just enough to do the job.
And as stated before, make sure you wear good eye/face protection and I would also use gloves.

Happy days .
