wet weather gear

anyone know and recommend where to get decent wet weather gear locally? types, brands, etc?

I'm taking Bib & Brace style overalls and proper weatherproof commercial style gear.

ive seen whitworths, bias, and taylor marine all have some, but just wanting to see if there are other options locally.

cheers

Haha. I posted in it the other day, so that's how I knew it was there.

I have owned Burke, Musto and Gul. I used to import Gul and have a full kit of it. Great kit.

Burke is below shit. I owned bib and brace and a jacket and copped hypothermia.

Wifey owns a Musto kit and it a great. And the Musto state rep has loaned me his baby seat, so I will give it another plug.

I used to sell gear to the commercial fishos who picked up the PVC stuff. Costs less but isn't breathable and is basically a throw away product at the end of the season.

I had a full inshore kit, then when that died, got an offshore jacket, via warranty + a bit of cash. When that died, I got some grown up stuff.

Musto is the Toyota of WWG.

It all depends on what you want. My recommendation is a really good pair of bib and brace pants.

Some brands to Inshore, coastal or offshore kits. They are made to keep you dry. Layers keep you warm though.
