Submitted by 1268-EX on Mon, 2012-01-30 11:33
I have had this fibreglass boat for a few years now, its a really smooth ride becasue of the shape of the hull and just wanted to know what brand it is. im guessing it was made roughly in 81 becasue thats what year the motor was made and i baught the two together?
thanks,

Guardian
Think it could be an early Guardian, that is before someone has gutted it and stuck thwarts and a small console it it.

I reckon
Dont pretend to know it all, only been into boats for like years(joke) but I used to read and dream everything I could riight up until I managed to buy my little Tournament 1750.
Anyway i reckon as soon as i saw it it just said GLASTRON, looks like there hull and a quick, I mean quick search revealed a little pic, link attached.
The short sides and curves are what i reckon. Anyway probably wrong but good to get involved and maybe help.

I don't know what it is, but
I don't know what it is, but if you have the WAFM with Luke R on the front holding a salmon, then there is a pic of that hull inside it. Some guy doing some fly fishing, maybe for tuna, is standing inside it. I recognise the shape of the gunwhales.

Therer is a dedicated site
Therer is a dedicated site with all Glastron boats ever made + a website dedicated to Glastron boats.
Old / Classic boats/outboards are BIG oversees.
There is a select group of Bellboy enthusiasts even here in good old sleepy Perth with some great classic boats and motors (Old Mercuries and Jhonno's), tearing up the river every so often
