Its a fantastic spot for
Its a fantastic spot for plenty of tasty Sand Whiting and other assortments (Flathead, Gurnard and the odd KG)! We ALWAYS get a good feed of the hungry little buggers. Just drift along with suitable sized snapper lead attached to a 2 hook paternoster rig with 20lb line. I usually run 2x 1/0 or 2/0 long shanks and some red tubing or bead and squid/peeled coral prawn for bait. Also found a lump in the depression many years ago and pulled a 75cm Pinkie from it!
