hi, this is a bonito i caught at woodies point on a lure in 2011 back when i was a amuture fisher.
it was 700g. i caught 3 that day

Never fail to surprise
At the keenest in fish. That lure is about as big as that bonnie. Once caught a grinner that was half the size of the lure trolled at 4knots over reef for coral trout. How in hell it thought it had a chance at a meal, and not being a "sprinter" in the speed department must have taken every ounce of effort to get to it. Laughed for ages!
