A friends got a set of 5

A friends got a set of 5 books from the turn of the centry.  Printed in 1905 and teach a women how she should, stand, sit, talk, speak,dress, root, fart.

You name it, this book will tell them how they should do things, in the way and manner that is acceptable.

Totally mind boggling stuff. They are al written in the same err  'tone'  that the above article.

I do find retrospective observation of society (values and perspectives) very interesting. Makes you wonder how things will evolve in years (and centuries) from now.

Your friend should hang on to those books. I suspect they may become increasingly monetarily valuable, other than the value they hold now of course.
