yeh i went from mindarie monday the easterly was howling all day made fishing very uncomfortable looks great from the shore, dont judge a book by its cover, but a night fish from the beach this week might be the go!

Yeah, your right German, but...
Not the point I was trying to make. Was having a shitty day locked in the office and just venting. Perhaps should’ve been a tad eloquent.
Its just the amount of chances for a great day on the water, lost, due to making alternative plans based on all predictions available (even issued on the day) I find infinitely frustrating.
The day this pic was taken the forecast on all sites was for 25+ knots off-shore (basically blowing it’s arse off) and to look at the actual readings (and with the binocs) for the day, the worst was about half of that, and for a short time only, the rest of the day would‘ve been OK - a bit bumpy, but safe at least.
But, I am a novice, therefore, will continue to err on the side of caution.
A crystal ball, one that works for the stock market as well, would be nice.
BTW today looks shite.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with.
