Bit small for a feed mate

Fri, 2007-07-13 13:33

Bit small for a feed mate hey? Better off putting him back to grow a bit bigger. Dont taste to well anyway out of the swan. But thats just IMO.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

Its a good fish no douting

Fri, 2007-07-13 16:22

Its a good fish no douting that just didnt think it was that big!lol. i find them a little dirty tasting compared to the ones from say pallinup or moore river systems but if you think there alright by all means get into them. Might have to try one myself soon as i havent kept any for years out of there if you say there good. Dont mind the old bream every now and then. Cheers mate ill give em a go one day.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

weight is bit out tho maybe

Sun, 2007-07-22 16:38

i saw one caught on friday night at the narrows and it was 41cm and the fattest ive seen for a while...(7cm across the belly) and it only went 1.134kg(digital scales) so i think the weight of the one above may be a little less JMO...nice specimen tho
