canal rocks salmon

on the way it at canals after a damm cold n wet start,travelled from quindalup to canals after the bay self destructed with 35+ ese winds,friends of mine caught bluefin last night there,but these were good fun.. massive schools ,birds dive bombing all around you...and even a dhufish in the kill tank..

Good to see some nice sportfishing action Harro. Different strokes for different strokes but I would have spent all day playing with these things instead of bottom bashing. :)
Hopefully they will hit Perth in a big way again this season.

look below john
if u look at my last post john, we caught a nice dhu,but we were so cold n wet, after the trip we thru the lures out on the way in..we hooked about 5 of these on light gear awesome fun,but we came home with 1 dhu

i must admit i never really throw lures around til i find some warm water ,we had loads of mackies down here this yr,first really,yollwofins etc,, if this closure goes thru which i doubt it will kill the midwest and southwest
