Thats what I was thinking but some people up that way are doing real well on big softies on jig heads up to 10/0 hooks and 6 oz lead heads , but the more toothy critters are shredding them and at a couple of bucks a pop they are pretty carfull where they drop them .

Can I ask what size / weight are you using in the waters up there , I found up to 200 grammers good in water under 40 m but after that 3,4,and 500 grammers are needed to stay vertical. I suppose you really need to work out the tides to see what works when .

I was using 100g jigs in

Tue, 2008-04-08 19:06

I was using 100g jigs in water up to 50m and they worked fine. 150-200g would have been better but what I was using worked suprisingly well..

The SP thing isn't really my style hehe..
