First Dhuies for the new HDS

First Dhuies for the new HDS

On very short notice I decided to pull the pin on work and go fishing on Friday.
We decided to launch at Mindarie and go on a "recon" mission in search of new ground. After trying a few spots in the 40's for nil result we decided to move out a bit deeper. Proved to be a good decision as we found some good ground with plenty of fish on the bite.
First drop resulted in a double header of Dhuies to John and a good size Breaksea to me. Subsequent drifts result in 8 dhufish, 1 baldy, numerous undersize pinks, a samson fish, leather jackets, red snapper, breaksea cod, skippy and the usual sergeant bakers. Dhufish ranged from undersize to 8.5kgs. Goes to show it is worth making the effort to find new spots.
Very impressed with the new HDS 10, made locating fishy ground at speed quite a simple task.

Can I ask how the tranducer

Sun, 2010-09-12 10:41

Can I ask how the tranducer is fitted inside the hull? I kind of remember someone saying they put a pile of adhesive and stuck the tranny in it? Right, wrong or otherwise??
