Good to see a solid cray. Top job. Definately on the way to a jumbo for sure.

I think its when they are

I think its when they are bigger than 115 because thats when you have to put the females back and can only keep the males so that is classed as a jumbo

sorry Matt, 140mm entry requirement!

Freediving or on tanks? Wouldn't mind a feed of reds myself soon.

Just the one for me Alfred

Just the one for me Alfred unfortunately. At least it was a PB. Only saw 3 more (2 prob just size and in difficult ledges). Jamie got his bag, but probably a slightly better area as I only saw 3 total that dive.

Nabbed a big cuttly though. Tony was pointing at a ledge so I went and had a look and was thinking 'nope, no crays here', pulled my head out of the ledge and this big cuttly camoflages out of the weed right next to me changing colours. Ohhhh, thats what he was pointing at. Looped it quicksmart and spiked it through the head. Left it on the snare for 5-10minutes and it was still inking. Was at the start of the dive and dead when we put it in the esky, but the esky still got blackened, hehe. Came up awesome though, and some great bait in the tentacles.

Tony also pointed out a big flattie I woulda looped but missed the signal. We have new signs for both of those now :p
