Fishing again today!

Fishing again today!

Well, went fishing yesterday and had a great day. Got home cleaned the boat, then the phone rings...do you want to come fishing monday??  Well .. is big bird yellow...does pinnochio have wooden balls, of course i do !

Headed north and fished a heap of shoals, and clocked up around 90 miles. Caught plenty of saddletail, and a few coral trout. But while fishing out in 35m in blue water, i felt something a little different on the line. Once the fish was on the surface, it turned out to be a nice sized Blue nose salmon. Had a great day on the water once again, and nothing better than fresh salmon for tea. Oh and i still have 3 days left till work...maybe might beable to fit another fish in!

Oh nice blue nose mate! Very tastey indeed! Strange to catch it out in 35m, we usually found them in the sandy shallows on up the creeks.

Yes sure was strange. When i lived in Broome, we used to target them in about 4 foot of water in the muddy Roebuck Bay.
