I couldnt say if it is a green eye shark

But, Having seen a few different sharks while night diving over in cairns, they all appear green eyed under the torch beam, was the camera flash on? At times it was downright spooky with hundreds of green eyes lighting up, but as soon as you tried shine the torch on their bodies, they would swim off in a hurry.

I figured it was similar to a cats eye, with a reflective surface at the back of the eye to maximise the light in dark conditions.  Also it could be the protective membrane that some sharks can use to cover their eyes while feeding.
