I've had a Bigmouth that had its whole HP tail ripped off after 1 fish. Ouch!

Do you give it a touch up paint job, because the underlying structure is OK, or do you just hoof it out like that?

Just chuck it out like that, the GT's don't care. Once it get's really bad I'll retire it but usually I lose poppers before that happens.
