Jigged dhuies
One of many nice dhuies jigged up over the weekend.
Not the biggest fish of the trip, but one of the better pics.
Was one of those weekends where we struggled to round out our demersal bag after keeping our two dhuies as could not get away from the dhuies, but got there with pinkies and baldies both days in the end.
Plenty of red snapper, sambos and AJs around too, so was a great couple of days out.
All fish taken on metals, north of river ramp. Dhues in the 50s, rest of fish out in the 100-150s (including a surprising baldie)
Luckily we got a few fillets in the freezer as due to an unfortunate 'craypot in the dark' related incident, I'm now likely to need a gearbox rebuild, and so will be off the water for some time!

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
