Jigs vs Bait

Set out for a day fishing with my brother, me sworn to jigs and plastics him going old school bait. Day started slow, then i got a nice pinky on green/gold caprice. Was lipping off whilst he re-baited, his next drop right next to my jig returned this nice dhu,17 kegs on the lie detector.
BAIT WINS haha, this time anyways. Heading out tomorrow to settle the score......

Very true
But i have had days where fish wont touch a fresh slab of bait, yet fight over the flashing bit of not so tasty metal. Each day is different, but a good brotherly challenge either way.

That was day before season close this year. Went today and had a good day on jigs in the bay, brought our two dhus home released quite a few size also. Got stretched out by a big mumma sambo right in the thick of the dhu's. had me calling big dhu and the heart was pumpen, soon changed my mind when it didnt give up until the knife hit its throat haha, neighbour across the road is chluffed he now has sambo to eat for months. Jigs definetly won the day today even had my bro tie one on towards the end.. Love the new stick i brought pe3, 30lb braid.
