Tripped over something on the walkaround when I had a cobia on. Knew it was going to hurt later, but didn't really care at the time.

If I was to grab the second toe
and bend it toward your bog toe would you hit me????
If so I would say broken for sure. Not much can be done apart from putting on ice (or in if you had an esky or kill tank on board)and having 6 or 10 drinks.... Might not kill the pain but would take your mind off it.
Now for the important question.... Did you get the cobia on board?

Yeah Jamie tried his best to inflict damage to the Trophy - kicking fittings and head butting the marlin board....but it held up to the onslaught.
