Muldy and I were in the water at 6.10 am,headed out for the reef, had the first one by 7.15,dropped 2 and then went on to catch 6 more all good size,we kept 2 and released 5 others,xraps were the flavour of the day, the lure in the photo was top colour with 5 and 2 on the quantas colour as well, it was nice and blowie[rough] and I guess thats how mackos like it.as it calmed off so did the fish and we were back by 11am,cleaned up,and went to the beach to wash of the mackerel slime and get some exercise,Muldy had to go and work on afternoon shift

mate them easterly make it hard, the other day i had 14 beers the night before and boy was i crook but its all worth it hey got to be happy with that!

I got mine on a 160 X Rap in
I got mine on a 160 X Rap in the Dorado pattern. Green with dark green spots. On the box it says it runs at 30 feet depth.

lure types
todays top colour was blueish,blackish with black spots on the side and yellow cheeks, 5 on that colour[also lost2] and 2 on the quantas colour both xrap 30s[large ones]

thanks heaps, I'll be heading up to mindarie from Kwinana next week for a troll so just trying to get as much info/advice possible so I'm better prepared and not waste my time. Feel free to PM me any other advice you have to chasing these toothy critters, as you seem to be doing realy well lately!!
