this goliath came from 41m off mindarie (116cm long 17kg gutted) on a bluebacker 100 baitcaster with a sweep fillet for bait!!(thought it was worth another look for you all!!) cheers.. i still cant believe the size of that fish!!!!!!!!

but i still get a thrill looking at it it was f##@ing awesome , when that came into the boat we had a live 18kg dhu on the floor and that pink was so much more imposing to look at i'll never see one like that again!!!! the reason some of my old photo's are going up is that adam has just set up a gallery for me and when you move the images they come up in latest photos!! cheers

Ryan since you caught that fish 8 or so years ago what else have you caught from the same spot? Does it consistently hold good pinks or is it one of those spots that can turn up anything on its day or is it one of those spots that has failed to catch anything of significance ever since?

it was on flat ground about 500m from an average spot i used to fish , just a lucky encounter! got an 18kg dhu 2 minutes befotre the pink too , and i didnt catch either of them!!!! my old deckie did RIP!!
