Really nice photo of the boys on the move at the montes... Had just been for a dive and heading back to camp to stock up on refreshment and head out for some bigger fish

Gday Poddy. Some bloody awesome pics of some mad fish you are posting up mate. Just one question......how did you get those boats out to the Montes? did you take off from fortesque river mouth?

Yeah mate
yeah mate we launched from the fortesque and boated across ourselves.. pictured are a 580 topender closest and a 600 oceanriver with a few mods.. ive got a 600fishseeker... fully loaded shes a long trip bout 90ks.. last easter we had to launch from dampier as the fortesque was flooded from cyclone that was 120ks and rough as guts.. this year we had awesome conditions for travel...

How long did it take from the fortescue river mouth? No trouble launching a 6m boat there?

umm nah not really mate just make sure u check ya tides cause there is a river crossing not far from the ramp... we had some problems travelling down so run abit late and had to cross thru some side step high water on the incomin tide... one of the rigs got bogged...
