...can't go wrong with Abu's and the double-handed butt section gives you real leverage against hard-pullers like salmon. Have a similar setup, albeit a bit heavier (8-10kg), Calcutta/Backbone combo, and it's superb for salmon, snapper, and some of those late-season, bigger dolphinfish!
Have a similar combo Andrew and it pulled that big dhuie in my last pic post. 15lbs fins braid on a limited edition bling purple C4 matched to a light shimano "forgot the bloody name of it" two tone paint jobby 5'6
If I didn't land something decent on it I am sure the boys would make me fish in a tutu for how 'camp' it looks
