I should be right

Sat, 2007-03-17 11:30

I should be more than right then for hitting the south west bank. My rig has the 90 2st merc and I have a 90 ltr tank. Fill up the 2x 10ltr jerries for emergency and Ill be laughing.

Just checked seabreeze and I am spewing! I had organised my mates old boy to have the day off work and we were going to give the SW bank ago, but not the way it looks now. Have to check it again tomorrow arvo before I give up completely.

I know what ya mean

I have made that trip on several occasions its about 17nm and if it blows up especially in the smaller rigs it can be an uncomfortable 2 hr trip back to Rocko.
Smaller i mean like mine a 474 Stacer alli with a 60 4st yammi, even though ive got plenty of stick you can't use it out there.
Hope the weather gods are smiling on ya.

Cheers

Canopy

Mon, 2007-03-19 20:24

I like the canopy Mike, good shade, and maintains easy 360degree fighting if you need to pass the rod under/over the anchor rope…as I did on Saturday with a mongrel eagle ray that I was hoping to be a scale fish!

Cheers Jason

yeah swb is no problem with me. got the canopy made up end of last year not bad at all keeps my rods up and out of the way. the shade is awesome compared to the old cannopy it came with. need shade to shelter my sounder. next additions will be a couple of spoties for night fishing and raising the ariels up top. took it out on the weekend for a fish. never had a slow moment from the first drop to the last we had dhuies snappers baby sharks i mean baby sharks one would have been the size of my hand. seemed to be lots of just size or under fish. total keepers for that day was a feed. 1 dhuie 1 snapper 2 nice big fat skipy and a smallish king gerorge. threw back lots. we went out bout 34km. only out for four hours
most was travel. got our feed and left
