Out off Port Hedland. Had agreat day. Got 3 mackies that size trawling and got a cobia to the boat probably about 130cm but it got away while trying to net it. Then did some bottom fishing and pulled up 12 reds and not a thing else. Lots of whales breaching as well.
not a bad mackie, would have been nice out there on the water in those conditions and well what can be said about only catching 12 reds, mmmmmmm lets think.mmmmmm mongrel. . well done but pity you couldnt mix it up a bit with other fish
Yeh was nice and flat. A few mates thought it was nearly criminal to put it all back except the one macky we kept. I figure if ur only going to get one type of bottom fish u cant complain about reds...
