Went 6kg and the Mrs caught it after stalking them in the shallows with a fresh crab bait. Gave her a hand lifting it up the rocks, surprised it didn't pull her in as I'd locked the dragged up

The ultimate fishing.Stalking big bluebone with unweighted crab.Must of had some heavy nylon to stop that brute in the shallows.

The same / on par with a Baldy - as far as eating goes? Awsome catch that
I would say so, been a while since I had a baldie, but I put it up there with trout and red emp, closest to the best in the ocean.
