Redfin: bloody pigs

Still surprised everytime at how hard they'll smash lures no matter how big they are. This redfin engulfed one of my biggest freshwater lures and he wasn't too far over 30cms.

They are a bit of fun. I'm always amazed at the size of Maron they can have in their gut.

redfin at flathead have got
redfin and flathead have got to be the greediest things going. Redfin probably take top spot tho!

Awesome fun to chase and even better to eat, redfin for life sums it up haha,
best effort i have seen was a mate proving a point and caught a 20-30cm redfin on a yo-zuri crystal minnow 15cm long. It still managed to get the last 1/3 of the hard body down its throat.

im always tempted to chuck out a lure like that and just troll around deep in one of the dams to see if you can hook up with a monster reddie! Never actually end up doing it though.. Would be interesting!
