We had 2 others come up following this one that I reckon would have pushed past 20kg.  This one circled the boat for 15 minutes whilst eating the popper and spitting it out again, was awesome to watch.  I don't think I'll ever take one for the table ever again, felt like I was killing the dog. :(  Also to note was that he was in full spawning mode. :(

Nice cobia,yes Adam felt a little that way when the marlin died on me last year ,took the edge of it ,. a nice fish still the same well done

nice work!!!!!!!!!!! .good fish .they eat dog in many parts of the world mate.love me cobia fillets.good to know there full this time of year though.
always in it just the depth that varies
